Nepal: Heading towards disintegration, Maoists responsible

Chairman Surya Bahadur Thapa and Chairman Pashupati Shumser Rana of Rastria Janshakti (RJP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) have claimed that the political situation has worsened to such an extent that the country is heading towards disintegration and that the Unified Maoists Party is entirely responsible for the current situation.

Message well received from the South, it could be guessed. 

“The country’s sovereignty is in danger. And the corruption is at its peak,” they held.

Both the former staunch royalists turned ‘up to the brim’ republicans were speaking at a Party unification assembly in Chautara of Sindhupalchowk, February 5, 2012.

“I can see that the country is heading to an immediate crisis,” claimed Thapa and added, “The country’s sovereignty and integrity is being threatened.”

When merger is round the corner then why to talk of sovereignty?

“People in government are only answerable to their party and they are working for their personal benefits,” also said Thapa-the veteran Nepali conspiratorial brain.

Rana was of the view that the Maoists have pushed the nation towards the brink by promoting caste and ethnicity based politics.

And you had beamingly accepted Mr. Rana? Isn’t it that so?

Speaking at the program, RJP Vice chairman Prakash Chandra Lohani claimed that there was the need for unity between nationalist forces to save the country.

Dr. Lohani at times speaks double.
